In honor of the ever beautiful one and only Abbey Plotkin aka “The Mambo Mama” for her inspirational work, ground breaking resilience and contribution in the world of Mambo.
Her good heart gave out, ending a lifetime of devotion to joyful dancing, as well as her love of diverse friends and a large Jewish family.Abbey was a professional dance performer and educator, with a special interest in Latin American dance styles. Friends and family admired her personal warmth and joie de vivre and also enjoyed watching her experience the ecstasy of dancing.

Women In Mambo was created to highlight the contributions, presence, talents, development and impact to our dance community: whether on the stages of all national and International Congresses, or among others in or outside our community.
Join us in an amazing day celebrating Women. Our #Choosetochallenge Choreography Workshop will be lead by World class leading Women In Mambo.
Each Instructor will teach 30-60 minutes express workshops, concentrating on a specific choreography in their style. Our goal is to make this International women’s day #Choosetochallenge choreography the largest in the world.
